1. Who we are

RICHBRIDGETMC, trading as BreakForthNow ("we", "us", "our"), is a sole trader based in Ireland. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

  • Postal address: 5 Ellis Quay, Smithfield, Dublin 7
  • Email: support@breakforthnow.com

We handle personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: your name and email address. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, which processes your password or other sign-in credentials. We do not see your password.
  • CV data: the roles, dates, notes, education and skills you type into the service, your target role, and any job description you paste.
  • Optional personal details: depending on the region you choose, a CV may offer optional fields such as date of birth or nationality. They are optional, and you decide whether to add them.
  • Payment data: payments are handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of the payment, the amount and a transaction reference. We do not receive or store your card number.
  • Support messages: what you send us and our replies.

5. How AI is used with your data

To draft the wording of your CV, we send the following to an AI service provider (Anthropic): your experience notes, role details, skills, target role and any job description you provide. We do not send your name, email address, phone number or other contact details.

The AI returns suggested wording. We check it against what you wrote and remove statements we cannot trace to your notes, but it can still contain mistakes. Please review every line before you use it. We do not make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects by automated means.

6. Who receives your data

We do not sell your data. We use these service providers to run BreakForthNow, each acting on our instructions:

  • Clerk: sign-in and account security.
  • Neon: database hosting for account and CV data.
  • Vercel: website hosting.
  • Stripe: payments.
  • Anthropic: AI drafting, as described above.

We may also share data where the law requires it.

7. Transfers outside the EEA

Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens we rely on an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another safeguard permitted by the GDPR.

8. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and keep the service secure. If we later add analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first.

9. How long we keep data

  • Account and CV data: while your account is open.
  • If you delete your account (from your account page or by emailing us), we remove your account and CV data from our live systems within 30 days.

  • Support messages: for up to 2 years.

You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict its use, receive it in a portable format, object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. To use these rights, email support@breakforthnow.com. We will reply within one month.
